CMNNA Annual Meeting

After missing our neighbors in person for more than 2 years at the Annual Meeting we are ready to host a great event. The evening will begin with:
“The Old Spring Tavern: The History and Future of a Madison Landmark”,
presented by Rick Chandler, a neighborhood resident and member of the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation. He will discuss the fascinating history of the Old Spring Tavern at 3706 Nakoma Road, starting with its founding as a stagecoach inn in 1854. He will also talk about recent developments that affect the future of the property and answer your questions.
Following the presentation we will take CMNNA Board nominations from the floor and we will elect CMNNA Board members. If you are interested in guiding the future of our neighborhood or if you have a project that you have always wanted to work on, please consider serving on the CMNNA Board. We meet once a month and we welcome neighbors to join us in whatever way suits your schedule and interests. Our current projects include the Metro Bus Redesign, proposed development of the Old Spring Tavern property, an upcoming financial planning seminar, and celebrating the greening of the neighborhood with an Open House at Warwick Way Gardens on October 8 from 9 am – 12.
