Fundraising / Membership Committee

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the financial stability of CMNNA
  • Reach out to the neighborhood to increase the visibility of CMNNA

Green Spaces and Watershed

  • Establish and maintain neighborhood green spaces, rain gardens and pollinator gardens
  • Partner with the UW Arboretum and neighborhood gardeners
  • Promote green infrastructure and neighborhood beautification
  • Partner with The City of Madison on initiatives in the Wingra West Watershed
  • Advocate for solutions to reduce neighborhood flooding

Information, Education and Communication Committee

  • Maintain and regularly update the CMNNA website
  • Inform the neighborhood via the CMNNA email list
  • Maintain a presence on social media
  • Organize educational forums on a variety of topics
  • Build relationships with other neighborhood associations

Neighborhood Safety / Good Neighbor Committee

  • Build a strong relationship with the Madison Police Department and neighborhood officers
  • Work with MPD’s Good Neighbor Project
  • Help increase awareness of neighborhood public safety

Development, Planning and Preservation Committee

  • Work with the City to develop a long term neighborhood plan
  • Review neighborhood development proposals
  • Preserve the unique neighborhood architecture

Transportation and Safe Streets Committee

  • Improve accessibility and timeliness of neighborhood transit to citywide destinations
  • Improve pedestrian safety
  • Neighborhood liaison on transportation improvement projects
