The Madison Art Guild is conducting a virtual art fair to benefit the Food for Thought Initiative (F4TI), a program of Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin, which provides food for students of Madison Public Schools. It is estimated that fifty per cent of MMSD students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Alleviating hunger among those students and their families is the mission of F4TI. Their motto is: “Children should be hungry to learn, not hungry.” Madison Art Guild artists will donate 20% – 100% of their sales to the F4TI. The fundraiser will run through December, and new artwork will be added throughout the duration of the show. The virtual event may be viewed at www.madisonartguild.com/4food.
