The Madison West High Area Collaborative was selected by Metcalfe’s Market as the Charity of the Month for January 2021. This is a great way for the Collaborative to build funds and for Metcalfe’s Market to show appreciation for the patronage of our supporters.
When using the barcode flyer, Metcalfe’s will provide a 5% discount on all shopping throughout January. In addition, 5% will be donated to the Collaborative on total purchases at the end of the month ($1000 limit on the month end match). Please make sure to shop at Metcalfe’s in January!
The Madison West High Area Collaborative is an educational barriers relief effort for the West High School attendance area. As a collaborative of school staff, PTO/PFO’s and community members representing all schools within the West High attendance area, our values consist of: every student deserves food, every student deserves access to education, every student deserves access to health, every student deserves access to a place to lay their head. We need to consistently look at barriers that systems create for our families including our education system. We value connection to our families and partnership with our community programs. We will continuously listen to our families, learn from our families, find creative strategies and abolish the white power systems that harm our families of color.
