Fundraising / Membership Committee
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the financial stability of CMNNA
- Reach out to the neighborhood to increase the visibility of CMNNA
Green Spaces and Watershed
- Establish and maintain neighborhood green spaces, rain gardens and pollinator gardens
- Partner with the UW Arboretum and neighborhood gardeners
- Promote green infrastructure and neighborhood beautification
- Partner with The City of Madison on initiatives in the Wingra West Watershed
- Advocate for solutions to reduce neighborhood flooding
Information, Education and Communication Committee
- Maintain and regularly update the CMNNA website
- Inform the neighborhood via the CMNNA email list
- Maintain a presence on social media
- Organize educational forums on a variety of topics
- Build relationships with other neighborhood associations
Neighborhood Safety / Good Neighbor Committee
- Build a strong relationship with the Madison Police Department and neighborhood officers
- Work with MPD’s Good Neighbor Project
- Help increase awareness of neighborhood public safety
Development, Planning and Preservation Committee
- Work with the City to develop a long term neighborhood plan
- Review neighborhood development proposals
- Preserve the unique neighborhood architecture
Transportation and Safe Streets Committee
- Improve accessibility and timeliness of neighborhood transit to citywide destinations
- Improve pedestrian safety
- Neighborhood liaison on transportation improvement projects
