Open Forum – So who will receive my food donation?
Beth Bookland, Ph.D., volunteer director of the new Cherokee Heights Middle School Food Pantry will be presenting an open forum at 11 A.M., on Sunday, August 26th, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4100 Nakoma Road. Beth will discuss the need for the pantry at Cherokee and other food pantries in Madison schools. All are welcome so please come and bring your friends. This will also be the last day to donate non-perishable food items at Westminster, as your donations along with those from the congregation will be sorted for delivery to the new pantry. On August 29 from 2-4 P.M. Cherokee is hosting an Open House. At that time it is expected that the food pantry will be ready for viewing. Your active participation in the food drive is appreciated. For further information about this event please go to westminstermadison.org.
