The drop-off site will remain closed to the public through the remainder of 2022 and the winter of 2022-2023.
WHY IS THE BADGER RD DROP-OFF SITE CLOSING?
A construction project to demolish and then replace the existing salt storage facilities at 1501 W. Badger Rd will get underway.
This project will mean the drop-off site at Badger Rd will not be safe for residents during construction and will be relocated.
The west side customer service office will not be affected by the closing of the drop-off site.
BADGER DROP-OFF SERVICES WILL MOVE TO 402 SOUTH POINT RD
On Tuesday, March 28, 2022, 402 South Point Rd. will become the west side drop-off site.
It will initially be open winter hours until it transitions to extended summer hours on April 4, 2022.
This site will be far more convenient for many west side residents, especially those who live west of S. Whitney Way.
There will be no customer service support at this location. The west side customer service office will remain at 1501 W. Badger Rd.
South Point Rd will be the west-side Drop-off Site for the Winter of 2022-23
- The Badger Rd construction project is due to be completed in the late fall of 2022 before winter begins. However, the Badger Rd drop-off will not reopen for the winter of 2022-23.
