We Need Your Help!

We need your help!

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

The Crawford-Marlborough-Nakoma Neighborhood Association (CMNNA) Board, along with the help of many volunteers, has been developing a green space at the corner of Warwick Way and Whenona Drive. In the fall of 2017 we planted a pollinator garden, followed by a rain garden designed and developed in the summer of 2019. We are planning for continued upkeep of the gardens, as well as adding some interpretive signs, Leopold benches, a bird house and bat box to make the area more inviting (and informative) to visitors.

We need your help to make this happen! While we are working on a grant to support our project, particularly the interpretive sign(s), we are looking for sponsors for some specific items. The Leopold benches, commemorating Aldo Leopold, can be sponsored by individuals, families, and businesses, including in memory of someone for $125. We also plan to install 3–4 message centers around the neighborhood association boundaries to help get the word out about CMNNA meetings and events! These message centers can also be sponsored for $350 each. General donations are welcome, as well as hands-on help with the project! See all items listed in the table below.

Items to Sponsor Number desired Amount (each)
Leopold bench 2 $125
Bird house 1 $50
Bat box 1 $50
Message centers 3–4 $350
General donations Any amount
