Please consider our request for volunteers to help us build our playground, and really to help us move the wood chips! Share widely!
Playground news- We are ready to complete the final phase of our playground build. We will be installing additional swings, tether balls, and some spinning fun! Our build date is set for October 25. The swings and spinners will be hung later, after the concrete sets. We will need volunteers to help with the project. Only adults are able to help with assembly and will be working from 8:30 until it is completed (by 2ish). Even a few hours will help. Kids and adults can help us to move a mountain of wood chips in the afternoon. Our kids do not have school that day. Bring them over to Cherokee Heights Middle School. They can help their school, burn off some energy, and get some needed volunteer experience. Please contact Deanna Simonson if you are able to help at dlsimonson@madison.k12.wi.us
